Statistics Canada publishes highlight tables and analyses of data resulting from the Canadian Census. The census provides a statistical portrait of Canada and its people. Census data is also disseminated as precisely as the Block level in geo-referenced map format for spatial analysis.



The Nova Scotia Geomatics Centre provides high quality GIS data, including base and topographic map data, aerial photographs, and cadastral property maps.



The Centre of Geographic Sciences (COGS), Nova Scotia Community College's campus in Lawrencetown, N.S., is one of the largest technical trainers of students in the Geomatics field in Canada.
