Lee joined Turner Drake in 1981 after 6 years as a real estate consultant in the United Kingdom where he carried out valuations and conducted negotiations for expropriation, slum clearance, capital gains tax, estate tax and other purposes.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the international body of the property profession. He gained accreditation with the Appraisal Institute of Canada in 1983.
Lee has extensive experience in litigation support and excels in complex cases, typically found in urban areas. He has a keen intellect, a precise mind and superb technical knowledge. An accomplished strategic thinker who remains calm and competent under pressure; he is an outstanding expert witness.
He is also our Market Specialist and has undertaken a wide variety of impact, and feasibility analyses on everything from urban redevelopment to Cold War underground bunkers.
Lee has managed large projects many of which have included several hundred properties. These assignments include assessing compensation for the Petitcodiac River, Moncton, New Brunswick compensation claim; First Nations' land claims in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick; and the acquisition of power transmission corridors in Newfoundland and Nova Scotia.
